Our burial grounds

Our burial grounds are simple, scenic places, and quite different from a cemetery or memorial garden. They are full of wildlife and hope for the future. Their character changes with the seasons and the shifting shadows of the clouds.

What is natural burial?

A beautiful alternative

A natural burial ground offers a beautiful and sustainable alternative to traditional cemeteries and crematoriums. You have the option of full burial or ashes burial, but there is no headstone or grave marker.

Using natural materials

Everything used is natural and biodegradable. That means no embalming or plastics and coffins, urns and flower arrangements are all biodegradable. If these can be sourced locally, that's even better.

Have space and freedom

The burial ground gives you freedom to remember the people you love in a way that feels personal. Whether you want a traditional funeral, or something a little different, we can inspire, support and guide you to help organise the day.

Freedom and privacy

These are places you want to be. They offer freedom and privacy – a space that’s yours when you need it. They are calm and timeless – places to be still, away from the hurry and noise of the modern world.

Green projects

One of the rewarding benefits of working with progressive landowners around the UK is that we can be involved in projects that restore, preserve and create new habitats. Read more about the different green projects we are working on in Wales, England and Scotland.
